We are a family business formed in 1999 by Doug
and Irene Eaton.

Spas has recieved the Honorable Mention Award in the small business category, beating out over 30 other excellent
companies. Glacier Spas has also been nominated for this award.
The Glacier Spas Mission Statement:
To honestly promote, fairly sell and efficiently service reliable
and affordable family leisure products within Southern Alberta,
for the long term enjoyment of our customers.
Doug,
a former geophysicist, often thought about owning a small business
and in 1999 an opportunity presented itself. His business search
was guided by the following criteria:
- To
provide a service or product to the “boomer” segment
- To
be an independent company rather than a franchise
- To
create an organization having the same high ethics and professional
standards that Doug practiced during his exploration career
Having focused
on the family leisure business (primarily hot tubs and pool tables),
an additional benefit emerged. Doug and Irene’s son and
daughter joined the parade and brought another level of passion
and energy to the company. Irene decided to remain in her senior
position with new home sales while providing valuable sales and
marketing guidance to Glacier Spas.
The final
span in the bridge was connected when Glacier Spas
was able to acquire exclusive rights to the Coast Spa
line of hot tubs. We have also found the exclusive rights to Canada Billiard pool tables and their complete line of game room products.
With wonderful
products to sell, a big bright showroom, and knowledgeable and
friendly staff to serve you, Glacier Spas has
quickly grown to be one of Calgary’s top
